Per-spec-tive
The art of drawing solid objects on a two-dimensional surface so as to give the right impression of their height, width, depth, and position in relation to each other when viewed from a particular point. "a perspective drawing"
A particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view.
Okay, while I could make that first definition of perspective fit somehow (I AM a writer, after all), it's the second one I'll use as the focus to introduce you to my blog.
As I have matured in life (read: gotten old), I have come to appreciate perspective and how it affects the world around me. Through my weekly blog entries, I will attempt to not only show you my unique take on things, but also the perspective of those I've met and continue to meet along my life's journey.
And I invite you all to share your own unique perspective with me, since we really are all in this thing together (whatever this thing is), right? I won't lie and say I have thick skin, but go ahead and fire away with your comments and reactions. I can curl up in a ball in the corner with the best of them!
Author's note: Absent from this introduction is where I say "the following comments and opinions do not reflect those of NHWRITER, its creators, or affiliates" since, you know, they be me and all that.
Anyway, onward we go. I hope my thoughts can get you thinking and vice-versa. And as my good friend Abraham Lincoln (I call him Abe. It's a thing) once said: "Whatever you are, be a good one."
