E is for ambassador

Alright, alright, you got me. There is no E in ambassador, but as usual, I have a method to my madness.

E is actually short for the Big E, which is in turn short for Eastern States Exposition, located in Springfield, Massachusetts.

If you’ve never been to this two-week-long fair, you don’t know what you’re missing. There is so much to see and do. It’s huge!

The ambassador part of today’s blog title describes my job description for this coming Monday and Tuesday (9/28 & 9/29).

That’s right, your favorite local author (I hope that’s me) was invited by the NH Dept. of Agriculture, Markets, and Food to showcase my books and NH author story as part of a NH tourism effort. I’ll be inside the New Hampshire building on the Avenue of States located at the aforementioned biggest of Es.

So, if you don’t have plans, or know someone who doesn’t have plans, why not head down to the largest fair this side of the Mississippi next Monday and Tuesday (9/28 & 9/29) to say hi? I’ll be there, showcasing my published works and various examples of my early writing prowess, such as: How the Rabbit Got His Ears and How the Tortoise Got His Shell.

Okay, that’s the end of my commercial message. I promise to get back to some more meaningful content next week, so hang in there.
