Striptease
Okay, now that I have your attention, allow me to clarify.
This is not your typical striptease (or so I’ve heard from others…), where the person saunters about the room, usually to music featuring strategic beats that coincide with each swing of said person’s hips, until there is a final, um. reveal, if you will.
Maybe I’m a beginner with this sort of thing, but I’m taking it all off all at once, sort of a “full Monty” for those of you in the know (yes, you, in the back, peeking through your fingers). Behold, the gorgeous, dare I say sexy, book cover for my upcoming sci-fi novel, Redemption Falls!
I was proud to collaborate on this beauty with my uber-talented grandson Viktor (https://ko-fi.com/tealightjay). Like a striptease in reverse, I was mesmerized by the layers he added to the naked canvas of an idea I gave him.
As to the story, I’ll be coy and tease you with some details, in hopes you’ll be anxious to wrap your hands around this beauty and peel back each page until its inner mystery is revealed to you in all its exciting glory. Phew! Is it getting hot in here?
Okay, let’s all step back and take a nice, cold shower. After all, the book won’t be available until later this fall. Until then, the following blurb should satisfy your curiosity.
What do messages from an ethereal entity, an alien invasion, and an enigmatic prophecy have in common? Tommy costa, a twenty-something land surveyor, must use all the lifelong strategic and survival lessons drilled into him by his parents in order to find the answers before it’s too late. Guided by a motley crew of grizzled veterans, he discovers more than he bargained for, including the most unlikely of allies. Will it be enough to turn the tide and stop the annihilation of Earth?
Redemption Falls challenges preconceived perceptions about extraterrestrial beings and brings the reader along a journey of humanity, showing how even the most flawed among us can still find redemption.
Thanks for visiting my establishment, folks. Remember to tip your server, shut the lights down before you lock up, and whatever you are, be a good one…whether there are clothes involved or not 😊
